As soon as she was on sight<\/p>\n

So she stayed here waiting for this mission to end<\/p>\n

Watching couples bonding and laughing and eating ice creams<\/p>\n

And when one of them showed up at the very last minute<\/p>\n

She already caught a bad cold<\/p>\n

She was coughing when I met her<\/p>\n

at a wedding convention six weeks later<\/p>\n

She wasn’t a more credible bride than she was as an angel<\/p>\n

And she already drank all the Champagne she could<\/p>\n

Life is not sweet nor tender<\/p>\n

For those who sell dreams<\/p>\n

They lay their exhausted eyes<\/p>\n

To the automatic circus others called “love”<\/p>\n

Wondering how and when could they participate to such forgery<\/p>\n
